Workshops and Private Lessons
I am available for workshop bookings for your event or organization! Past workshop offerings have included Visible Mending, Patchwork with Reclaimed Textiles, and a DIY Upcycled Wardrobe class. I'm open to working with you to develop a workshop that's the right fit for your space and your people. Contact me for rates and more info!
Private one-on-one or small group sewing lessons are also available, in my space or yours. Please contact me to discuss rates and availability.
Collaborative Sewing Space
Come join us for Friday Sewing Society - a collaborative, self-guided sewing workshop in downtown Guelph. Sessions run most Fridays from 12-2:45 p.m. from September to June at Studio Anthology, at 77 Suffolk St. W. Advance registration is preferred as sessions frequently sell out, but drop-ins are welcome if space allows!
Work on self-guided sewing projects at your own pace in a beautiful and bright space, with a skilled instructor to help with any challenges that may arise. You'll get to use our professional tools - large cutting mats, rotary cutters, irons, pressing mats, tailoring tools, plus many other shared notions and tools. The best part is that you'll get to sew in community with other like-minded creative folks, sharing ideas and inspiration. Trust me, Friday Sewing Society is about to become the best part of your week.
The Circular Textile Project
We're not your regular fabric store! We believe that the most sustainable textiles are the ones that already exist. gather + make specializes in high quality, sustainable, reclaimed "circular textiles". (A work in progress!)

Sustainability + Well-Being
Sustainability and well-being are at the core of everything we do. I believe that giving yourself the gift of time to slow down while growing and developing practical skills like sewing has immense and far-reaching benefits, for both individual and community well-being.
